 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child performer shortly after immigrating to the United States. Her most well-known work is her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (from). She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also been the voice of Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the television pilot that has not yet aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Because of financial struggles in the family, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly however she quit in her second year. She later obtained a GED and graduated with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied the art of improv comedy.
